BADI in script Logic Query = On or Off

Hi

I'm testing a script logic with BADI in UJKT. If the QUERY = OFF I have no result in my log in UJKT and the EPM report is not updated. If I Set to QUERY = ON I see the result in UJKT and the EPM report is  updated.

I want to used the BADI in DATA MANAGER PACKAGE.

Whats the purposes of QUERY ON or Off and what is the setting to be able ti use it in DM Package ?
